Rehearsals have begun for the poetic performance based on Bulgarian love poetry „Love for Love“ by director Yordan Slaveykov!

With this performance the "Ivan Radoev" Theatre extends its first invitation to the audience at the start of its new path – quiet, sincere and turned towards what connects us.

On 14 February, the day of love, we invite you to an encounter with poetry – not to explain feelings, but to feel them.

We can be obedient to it, be its captives, serve it, devote ourselves to it.

We cannot explain love..

We can try to dress it in words and be sure that we will not succeed.

We cannot explain love.

But we can feel it.

In the poetic performance based on Bulgarian love poetry “Love for Love” we offer the audience of Pleven a journey through the love poetry of poets such as Hristo Botev, Peyo Yavorov, Nikolay Liliev, Evtim Evtimov, Petya Dubarova, Damyan Damyanov and the contemporary Georgi Gospodinov, Vasil Balev, Ivan Landzhev, Aleksandar Ivanov, Kameliya Panayotova, Mara Belcheva, Dimcho Debelyanov, Aleksandar Vutimski, Geo Milev, Nikola Y. Vaptsarov, Elisaveta Bagryana, Blaga Dimitrova, David Ovadiya, Ekaterina Yosifova, Ivan Radoev, Asen Raztsvetnikov, Hristo Fotev, Georgi Konstantinov, Boris Hristov, Kameliya Kondova, Stefan Tsanev, Nikola Petrov, Rada Aleksandrova, Valentina Radinska, Gergana Pancheva, Lyudmila Slaneva, Vasil Balev, Ivan Dimitrov, Teodora Toteva, Lilia Ilieva, Stefan Ivanov, Reneta Bakalova, Ivanka Mogilska, Ina Ivanova, Georgi Georgiev, Ivan Metodiev and Margarita Petkova.
